You can have i2Brain running more than once at the same time. These separate "tasks" should open different  projects.

When you have finished working on one project for the time being, you can close it and open another one without having to shut the program down. 

Use:

In the main window's menu, choose "File | Close project".

- You are asked whether you really want to close the project:
- If you want to save your data, click "Cancel" and save your data as usual.
- Otherwise, click "OK".
