You can move or delete all the selected items at the same time.

Use:

An item is "selected" as soon as you click on it. Black squares appear at its corners.

When you create a new item, it is automatically selected.

You can select more than one item in a number of ways:

Hold the SHIFT key pressed and click on the required items.
Use the "Find" function. All the items containing the text are selected.
You right-click the column header in a column view and choose "Select all".
You mark an are of the view with a "rubber band". To do that, you click the background of the view, and keep the left mouse key pressed while you drag the mouse to the opposite corner of the rectangle you want to mark. All of the items which are completing within that rectangle are selected.
You press Ctrl-A to select all the visible items in a view.

You can deselect all of the selected items simply by clicking the background of the view.

When several items are selected, you can drag them all by clicking one of them, and (keeping the left mouse key pressed) dragging the mouse.

Pressing the "Del" key deletes all selected items. To avoid accidental deletion of too much important information, you are shown the number of selected items and asked to confirm their deletion if more than one is currently selected.

Pressing F3 scrolls the view so that the next selected item is shown at the top left of the view.
